How a TripleTail Comes to Life
Every TripleTail skiff is built with intention – from the first design conversation to the final water test. Our process is hands-on, deliberate, and focused on delivering a skiff that performs exactly the way you expect it to.
No shortcuts. No mass production. Just thoughtful craftsmanship at every stage.
Step One
Design & Planning
Built Around How You Fish
Every build starts with understanding how you plan to use your skiff.
We walk through performance goals, layout preferences, power options, and finishes to ensure the foundation is right before construction begins. Hull configuration, deck layout, and system options are finalized so every decision serves a purpose on the water.
This stage ensures your skiff isn’t just built—it’s built for you.
Step Two
Hull Construction
Precision From the Ground Up
The hull is the heart of every TripleTail.
Using advanced carbon fiber and Kevlar composites, each hull is hand-laid and laminated with precision. Our lamination process and integrated stringer system are designed to maximize strength, efficiency, and long-term durability while keeping weight in check.
This stage defines the performance, balance, and ride characteristics of the finished skiff.
Step Three
Rigging & Finish
Details That Matter
Once the hull is complete, rigging begins.
From clean wiring and system installation to hardware placement and deck finishing, every component is installed with care and serviceability in mind. Electronics, power systems, and fishing features are integrated cleanly and efficiently.
Fit and finish are refined at this stage – because craftsmanship should be felt every time you step onboard.
Step Four
WATER TESTING & DELIVERY
Ready for the Real World
Before delivery, each skiff is water-tested to ensure it performs as intended.
Systems are verified, handling is evaluated, and final adjustments are made so your TripleTail leaves ready for real-world use – not just the showroom.
Once complete, your skiff is prepared for delivery and the next chapter begins – on the water.
